Inclusion is not a place. Inclusion is about belonging.

The SCESD’s Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education Program is excited to provide training and support for children with disabilities to be included in community early childhood programs.  Working with the University of Denver, staff are focusing on “Building Blocks for Belonging” (BB4B), a framework for training, coaching, and leadership to improve inclusion for children with disabilities in early childhood programs they would participate in if they did not have a disability.  We are excited to work with U of D’s Positive Early Learning Experiences (PELE) Center to bring belonging, inclusive engagement, and joyful learning to our communities’ children!
