South Coast ESD supports schools and students across Coos, Curry, and Western Douglas counties, stretching from Reedsport to Brookings along the coast and inland to communities like Coquille and Powers. We partner with 10 local school districts to serve approximately 16,000 students, providing the specialized programs and support that individual districts often can't deliver on their own.

Our roughly 80 staff members, teachers, education specialists, grant and special programs staff, support personnel, and administrators work behind the scenes and on the ground to strengthen education throughout the region. From early intervention and early childhood education for children from birth through specialized services for students up to age 21, South Coast ESD is dedicated to meeting the unique needs of every learner on the southern Oregon coast.
